Our Objectives
- Initiate, conduct, manage, and evaluate research and development projects;
- Design, develop, improve and adopt strategies and systems in developing agriculture, forestry, and related fields;
- Maintain and develop manpower capabilities through training, extension, and formal education;
- Encourage, underwrite, and finance research, extension and instruction resources and activities at UPLB;
- Own and trade patents, technology, literature, and intermediate and/or finished products; and
- Enter into contract with public or private person or organization any lawful agreements for the study and management of agriculture, forestry, rural development, ecology, and related enterprises and projects.
